Thredbo leases are Torrens Title leasehold and all properties are located inside the Kosciuszko National Park.
The initial lease title was for 50 years with a 50 year option which was signed originally in 1957. The 50 year option was taken up in June 2007
and this is the option which all leasehold is currently purchased under.
Financial institutions will lend against this leasehold title as they consider the purchase as a resort style loan.
Individual financial institutions will advise clients on their own policies.
